Christine Adee is a nationally recognized ESOP leader who possesses a unique skill set that allows her to strategically plan, direct, and manage the fiduciary complexities of the 100% employee-owned OwnersEdge ESOP holding company and its operating companies.

As CEO of OwnersEdge, Christine oversees key financials and critical internal and external relationships. She sets the high-level direction for finance and IT and, working with external legal and insurance partners, is responsible for ongoing risk management. She’s also involved in the growth of OwnersEdge, handling financial and legal due diligence and, along with a team, acquisition integration.

Christine has been part of the evolution of OwnersEdge for the past eleven years. She was originally recruited as director of finance for CC&N. Once OwnersEdge was established, she was named chief financial officer and became president in 2021.

Christine has more than 25 years of experience in business leadership and planning, financial and operations management, business growth with profit maximization and productivity, and efficiency improvements. In her role as CEO, she will provide guidance on the profitability and growth trajectory for each of the OwnersEdge operating companies and evaluate and direct risk management.

She is frequently asked to present on a variety of M&A and ESOP-related topics at the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) Annual Conference, The ESOP Association (TEA) National Conference, and the Midwest ESOP Conference.

Throughout her career, Christine has served on the board of several non-profit organizations and is currently president of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. She’s also served on the board of two Wisconsin-based, 100% ESOP-owned companies – Mounds Pet Food Warehouse and Hallmark Building Supplies, Inc.

Christine earned her MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee School of Business Administration and her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the same institution. She’s attended executive post-graduate education programs at Wharton and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
